As already mentioned in the Easter Tango Festival news post, we’ve got very special guests in town this Easter: Emile and Nazan will be holding a series of workshops and attending two Milongas.

Workshops:

Each workshop is 1.5 hours long and costs are $30 for one, $55 for two, $75 for three, $95 for four. Places are limited, so book early!

11.45 – 1.15: Milonga con Traspie level 2
1.30 – 3.00: Milonga con Traspie level 1

Sunday 27th March
11.00 – 12.30: Tango Nuevo level 2
1.00 – 2.30: Women’s Technique with Nazan part 1
3.00 – 4.30: Milonga con Traspie level 2

Monday 28th March (Easter Monday)
11.00 – 12.30: Milonga con Traspie level 1
1.00 – 2.30: Tango Nuevo level 2
3.00 – 4.30: Women’s Technique with Nazan part 2

Performances and Milongas:

Saturday 26th March – Coriole Tango Night
Time: From 7:00pm until late
Location: Coriole Winery, Chaffey Road, McLaren Vale
Cost: $10

Fantastic Coriole wines available for purchase. Please bring a plate of finger style food to share. You’ll have the chance to dance with Emile and Nazan in Coriole’s beautiful courtyard and they will also be performing to a milonga. Tickets for this event are strictly limited, so please book early!

Sunday 27th March – Easter Festival Baile
Time: From 8:00pm until late
Location: North Adelaide Community Centre, Tynte St.
Cost: $15

Performances by Emile and Nazan (Tango Nuevo and Milonga con Traspie), Siempre Tango students and teachers. This event will also double as our first end of course ball. Please bring your own drinks and glasses.

Finally, a wrap up to farewell and thank Emile and Nazan (and to rest our tired feet) will occur at a North Adelaide watering hold after the final workshop.
